I honestly cannot thank Rachel enough for everything she has done for me over the years. Today I received my Australian passport, and it feels surreal knowing how many challenges, setbacks, and complexities were involved in my case along the way. There were times it felt impossible, but Rachel never gave up on me. From the very beginning, her knowledge, expertise, and professionalism were incredible. She has such a deep understanding of the immigration system and always knew exactly how to navigate even the most difficult situations with confidence and clarity. My case was far from straightforward, but Rachel handled every hurdle with so much experience, strategy, and attention to detail. She is not only incredibly skilled at what she does, but genuinely cares about her clients. Throughout the process, she was patient, supportive, and always made me feel like I was in safe hands. I would not be where I am today without her guidance, persistence, and dedication. Receiving my Australian passport today is such a huge milestone in my life, and I will always be incredibly grateful to her for helping make it happen. If you are looking for an immigration agent with exceptional expertise who genuinely cares about her clients and goes above and beyond for them, I could not recommend Rachel more highly. Thank you Rachel x
I can’t recommend Rachel highly enough. She handled my PR application with professionalism, clarity, and care from start to finish. The process felt overwhelming at times, but Rachel explained everything clearly, stayed on top of every detail, and was always responsive whenever I had questions. Thanks to her expertise, my PR was granted smoothly and without issues. If you’re looking for an immigration agent who genuinely knows her stuff and has your best interests at heart, Rachel is the one to go to.
I could not recommend Rachel McGill and Australis Immigration Strategies highly enough. As soon as I made contact about a complex immigration visa issue, she dove right in to get the context, consider approaches and recommend immediate next steps. By the following morning, she had reviewed all the material and called me to lay out all the options out on the table, with the related pros & cons of each. Apart from her obvious expertise and 'get-it-done' approach, she's also someone who's great to work with. I'll be keeping her business in mind for friends and colleagues who experience any immigration issues.
We have just received our 482 visa in less than 3 weeks and I cannot thank Rachel enough. She was so helpful and made the whole process seamless from requesting the information, to submitting the application and she was always available on the phone or email to answer any questions, as there had been issues with previous visas in the company through a different lawyer I was a little apprehensive however Rachel was extremely thorough and our visa was granted so quickly, I highly recommend her services.
My husband and I moved from Scotland to Australia on a working holiday visa in 2012. Most of my relatives live here, so right from the start we wanted to find a way to get Residency, and that’s what we were always working towards. We loved Sydney, and very quickly built a new life for ourselves, with lots of friends and fun outdoorsy activities. Fast forward four years, and we had been seriously let down by my employer, who (after 4 years of working hard for them) had started the PR Sponsorship visa for me, but then decided instead to make me redundant at the last minute. This left us at real risk of having to leave the country, and back to the beginning of our visa process all over again. Desperately, we sought advice from a well-known agency in order to get a new sponsored business visa via my husband’s employer, a small business whom he had been working for since arriving in Sydney. There followed a series of very unfortunate events, involving several instances of incorrect advice and mismanagement of our case by our agent (as well as some really bad timing!), which led to our visa not being granted, me being unable to work for nearly a year due to visa restrictions, and us having to pay to re-submit parts of our visa application again. By this point we were destitute and desperate, and very close to being evicted from our house. I met Rachel Magill from Australis Immigration via a friend in 2017. She understood how wretched our situation was and offered to look at our existing application free of charge. She made recommendations about the things we (and our current agent) needed to do to rectify the problems asap. We were gobsmacked by how much our agency had let us down, and were incredibly thankful to have met Rachel. Not willing to take any more chances, we hastily transferred our agency formally to Rachel, and within just a few short weeks we had our business visa! Finally I was able to work again, we were able to stop worrying about having to leave Australia immediately, and perhaps most importantly we now had a route to gaining Residency. Shortly thereafter, we engaged Rachel again to prepare and submit our Residency visa application. She gave us fantastic advice about what path was best to gain the visa as quickly and cost-effectively as possible (a route our previous agency had neglected to even consider!) and was with us every step of the process. A few months later, she called to personally deliver the good news – we had finally achieved Permanent Residency status! After more than 6 years of working towards this, we were absolutely overjoyed, and extremely relieved. We honestly could never thank Rachel enough for all the expert advice and support she has given us. Without her help, I truly believe we would not have achieved our Residency. She was always a calming, empathetic and practical presence when we were stressing out, and always made me feel confident that we could get there if we kept pushing. Rachel is one of those people who really cares about her clients and goes over and above to give you the best possible advice and service. I now recommend her to everyone!
Rachel at Australis Immigration Strategies has been very helpful over the past few months lodging and giving advice about my PR application. My situation is slightly complex and Rachel has high level of knowledge and answered the many questions I had. Highly recommend!
