Warning: Users are not properly informed of the very strict deadlines to be met. We were extremely disappointed with our experience with this agency. After a very promising and enticing start, where the administrative work was carried out diligently, we hoped in vain to be able to extend our visa (for only 20 additional days). Our visa was refused because the one-month deadline was not met. We entered the country on December 8th. The application was ready on December 18th. The agency presented us with the schedule of available appointments starting from January 8th. We chose January 8th, but the agency contacted us again, stating that January 8th was no longer available and that the first available date was January 12th, which was confirmed to us. However, the authorities take into account the date of the appointment, not the date of the appointment request. At this point, the agency, which was better informed about the applicable laws, acted unethically because they should have informed us that we had already missed the legal deadline and that our efforts were already in vain. Instead, the agency collected their very high fee and remained silent about the missed deadline. If, on the other hand, they had informed us, we would have made different arrangements instead of being caught in this trap. We warn future users of their services to be aware that at the end of the year, immigration and visa application offices remain closed for approximately two weeks, which significantly shortens the 30-day deadline to 15 days, making compliance with the procedure almost impossible. We received notification to collect the response from the authorities on March 26th. We went to the Cape Town office on March 27th and waited for 3.5 hours in the waiting room only to receive notification that our visa extension had been refused. They gave us the opportunity to appeal online within 10 days, but with the requirement to return to the Cape Town office to receive the final decision. This was impossible for us as our return flight to Europe was three days later, on March 30th. The agency refused to assist us, arguing that this new process was entirely our responsibility.
We had an amazing experience with New World Immigration helping us achieve our permanent residency in Australia. We first came over on a 482 visa as I moved to Australia to work as a plumber and bring my whole family over. The whole process from the 482 visa through to gathering all the documentation for permanent residency, this can be quite a crazy and overwhelming journey. Bronwyn and the entire team at New World Immigration were absolutely amazing throughout it all. Bronwyn is a truly amazing person who genuinely cares about the people she is helping. She was always there to guide us, answer questions, and make sure everything stayed on track. From helping us start our journey on the 482 visa to putting together all the documents for our permanent residency application, the team made a complicated process feel manageable. We are incredibly grateful for all the support and would highly recommend New World Immigration to anyone looking to make the move to Australia
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!! This was really the worst service I had in my life! It’s been almost 5 months later and still no visa! We had to contact them every time to remind them about us. They did not do their paperwork correct (and that’s why you pay them R5000!) so we had to go in to DHA the next day which is more than a R1000 trip for us, which we had to do TWICE because they can’t do their job. We have to keep asking them for an update on the visa, now they say their part is done we have to phone the DHA office for an update. They cost a lot of money, they make mistakes that cost you a lot of gas money and time….. and they just don’t care!!!!!!!!!!!!! Google how to do your visa, I promise you you’ll be better off.
We are very very happy with the service and help that we had from Debbi at NWI. The process is quite complicated at times and Debbi made the journey straightforward and easy as she was able to guide us through all of the documents we needed and assisted us in submitting all of our applications. I would happily recommend NWI to assist in getting a visa. Debbi is also very knowledgable on the whole process and was able to put our minds at ease when we were worried about certain elements or timelines. The service is worth the extra cost as alleviates a lot of the stress and admin of submitting EOIs and the documentation for the visas themselves.
