I wholeheartedly recommend NZ Shores Ltd. to anyone looking for a top-notch service, who needs helpful, thorough, and understanding advice with their visa application. We got our family resident visa approved in less than 5 months under the old SMC. We signed off our Eligibility Assessment on 27 March 2023 and the whole experience with the adviser assigned to us was met with the highest level of professionalism and dedication. Their team’s expertise shone through in every aspect of their service, from the initial consultation to the flawless execution of the immigration process. Winnie Wang, the lovely IA who handled my case was always very supportive and extremely helpful addressing all my doubts and concerns. She always made sure to always be available and reply in few hours to all my questions. Her knowledge of immigration, combined with its clear and effective communication, made the process smooth and stress-free. NZ Shores provided us a CV and a cover letter optimization service and some other ideas to help me apply for a job. This ended up to be extremely helpful as I did get a job offer from Company A after 2 months. However, due to a long process and waiting for them to get me on board, another door opened up, had an interview with Company B, and got my job offer before the old SMC closes in August 2023. EOI for SMC with 180-point threshold point submitted on the last minute but with the very big help of NZ Shores, the EOI got approved so fast and I was able to lodge my residency thereafter. NZ Shores team was always on the ball, very polite, and always there when I needed them. Charlotte Stockman, Fabien Maisonneuve, and Mariët Myburgh who also helped me all the way to the process to obtain our residency and even assisted us to post immigration process as full attention was given to me to ensure that all my needs were not just met, but exceeded. From our very first contact with New Zealand Shores we have been so impressed with how they run their business. You are seen as an individual person, they care and they really do want the very best for their clients. We had the priviledge of dealing initially with Julia and then our file was handed over to Clintivene. What can I say... quick, efficient, professional yet personal and friendly. We have never once doubted or regretted utilizing the services of NZS and will reccommend them to anyone looking to migrate. Highly misleading and unprofessional company that preys on prospective immigrants who have no recourse. My agent was Winnie Wang and she was utterly indifferent, unprofessional and disingenuous. I feel completely taken advantage of by her and NZ Shores. After hiring them, I received no real help with my situation. What they provided after hiring them was: 1. A letter of support to include with job applications. 2. An abysmal, lazy CV with typos and incorrect information. Their actual involvement was: 1. tell me to figure things out myself. That's the entirety of the relationship. 2. Many months after I gave up on this company(total silence from Winnie), she emailed me again with the intention of getting me to hire them again only because our contract was expiring. The dishonesty was apalling and grotesque. I expressed my grievances, and never heard from her again. I told her not to bother responding, but anyone with a shred of integrity would at least attempt to improve this. They very clearly, in both word and blasted on their website, make the claim that **they help you to avoid the catch 22 situation where you need a visa to get a job and a job to get a visa, and that they have industry contacts and things to help from their end**. This is a blatant lie. They absolutely do NOT help you with getting a job and I saw no industry contacts or activity whatsoever from their side. After I hired them, Winnie deflected questions and avoided responsibility as much as possible until I gave up. There is no difference between hiring these people and not hiring them. Their claims in the pretty PDF, and the things I was very clearly led to believe, were incredibly misleading. Any attempt to get them to do what I hired them to do was met with maximum yet passive resistance. Winnie would: 1. Tell me to keep applying for jobs and contacting recruiters, all by myself, when I told her that I was in the very catch 22 situation they told me I wouldn't be in. The response and proposed solution, forever, was "keep trying 😁". A star shape is never going to fit in a square hole and they knew it and didn't care. 2. Using asenine semantic arguments and the illusion of help to avoid accountability(we say we help but we didn't say HOW, we are not an employment agency go away, here's a 35 page publicly available document with every employer that exists in the country, keep trying). 3. Only partially addressing the things you say and or half answering them, constantly. This with point 4 is a lethally bureaucratic combination and results in conversations that take weeks to slog through and leave you with inconclusive and useless information designed to give the illusion of involvement. 4. Chronically ignoring emails for weeks until you give up. NZ Shores is a disgrace and clearly takes advantage of immigrants. At best, I feel scammed. UPDATE TO REVEW, February 11 2024: When I thought the practices of New Zealand shores couldn't get any more disgusting, they did. Sarah Croom(the principal adviser of NZ Shores) and Julia Cooke suddenly remembered me almost immediately after I shared the review and contacted me through email. They told me I should not have shared the review, and they said they would refund me only if I removed the review. It's obvious why they didn't respond to the above review on Google in public with that. They took no responsibility for Winnie(Shuyuan) Wang and implied they fired her, but did not apologize for anything nor felt accountable for anything. Holding money hostage for services never received to conceal the experience from the vulnerable immigrants they prey on is unforgivable and possibly criminal. I was not compensated for the damage to my life or the wasted time(2 years) nor was it even mentioned. I lied to get my money(that was being illegally held) back. I will be contacting the New Zealand Immigration Authority to make a formal report of my experience as this degree of dishonesty cannot stand and no minority is safe with these people.
We overall had a very good experience with New Zealand Shores, and ultimately were able to get work visas with their help! It was really nice to just give them the required documents and they checked everything and submitted all the applications for us. They also helped us with the timing of things like when to get our medicals done, criminal history checks, etc. The one thing that wasn't really very helpful was the resume/job help aspect. They basically reformatted our resumes and sent some links to job sites, all things that most people should be pretty comfortable doing. As long as you have a decent resume already, I don't think this aspect of the service was totally necessary. Really glad overall that we had their help with the process of getting a visa in NZ, it made the whole project less stressful, and did result in a visa for me and my partner!
Our experience with Sanjeev Singh, our Immigration Adviser, has been a very pleasant one. Sanjeev helped us to obtain our work visas and was very supportive throughout the whole process. He is very knowledgeable and aware of any immigration law changes that may have affected us and he would then communicate this timeously so that we can make the best decisions in advance of the changes being implemented. He also assisted us with our residency visas and we are very happy with how everything worked out. His turnaround time in responding to questions/queries was impeccable. He is very respectful, transparent and professional. We'll definitely recommend New Zealand Shores to anyone.
Clintivene is my Immigration adviser and the service was out of this world as I was guided all the way and assisted me all over with everything . Clintivene was really put under pressure with the short notice with the Tokens dead line and ensured that we met our target before the dead line. Communication was good and replied immediately and kept me up to date with any updated information,she also reacted immediately when any action was required. It was really unexpected to see how Clintivene went out of her way to assist me with my documentation while she was on Leave which I highly appreciate and cant thank Clintivene enough . I will highly recommend Clintivene as the immigration adviser ,the go to advisor.
