I would like to say my heartfelt thanks to Parish Patience. They did my skill reassessment, lodged our EOI of permanent residentship as well as visa application which ended up with a positive outcome. My cordial gratitude to our lawyer, Upasna Talwani. She is very professional and skilled, she had always been there whenever I needed her, she always answered and attended my questions and queries promptly and with great patience. I had the best experience working with Parish Patience and I would highly recommend them for any help required with visa applications. My review is not about the service because I never received any, but about the customer service, which could not have been worse. I got a call last week as I filled their enquiry form, the guy said Tuesday 4:30 p.m. we will have a meeting, I explained that it needs to be virtual and he said that’s all fine. I never received any email confirming details and when I messaged on their WhatsApp, a guy called me back and said he didn’t have any record of me making an appointment. That can happen as they might have been busy and forgot to put the appointment down, so I requested that he set up another one - this is where they were really unprofessional. He told me that the slot has now gone to a “doctor” from the UK (why was it important to mention doctor unless implying our case was not as significant). He also strangely asked if we had a Bangladeshi passport to which I said no, I understand it is important to know the citizenship of the candidate but once I said no, he said I’ll call you back…. and never did! People in Australia are courteous and deal very professionally, maybe their lawyers are great but my experience with their customer service was one of the worst.
Stay away from this company. They still live in 18th century and do not believe nowadays you can find people online and family members can be mutual friends with your ex's friends. No matter how much you try to make them understand they just don't want to understand which makes me question why did they take the case in the first place? Was it just a quick money making scheme that lets take the case and after we waste the clients time we say we can't do the case? That is exactly what they done, they took the case wasted weeks and then said they cant represent. They will deduct $300 and return the rest of the money. When a client tells you their case and swears under oath you are supposed to believe them but these lawyers are unbelievable and have no knowledge. I would give them 0 star if there was the option!
I can't recommend Parish Patience Lawyers enough! They were recommended to me by a friend who is also a lawyer. Alasdair Dougall who is the Director and Senior Immigration Lawyer at PP was my point of contact. From the beginning, Alasdair was extremely professional and helpful with the range of advice provided and the clarity with next steps. After applying for my partner visa (on shore) earlier this year, I was granted it in record time within a few months, in the midst of a global pandemic. Alasdair provided detailed guidance on filling the different forms, writing our relationship statements, securing support material and navigating the tougher bureaucratic aspects of the process such as quick ways to turnaround international police clearances and ways to capture interactions with your partner for proof of relationship. He also responded practically instantly to any queries, and provided the assurance necessary whilst we were waiting. When I do become eligible for the permanent residency, I will certainly be hiring his services again. I could trust him at the turn of every step, and he kept my partner and I looped in as each stage progressed. There was total transparency and mutual respect. I have a PhD and thought I was perfectly capable of applying without the need to engage a lawyer, but professional advice goes a long way in demystifying this process. Further, rules change constantly with immigration procedures and Alasdair was on the pulse of the latest information at a precarious time due to reduction of visa grants as the COVID-19 pandemic rages on. You will not regret going with PP Immigration Lawyers!
I applied my wife’s residency through Parish Patience where i have liaised with First Usman Ali , Aneri and main lawyer Mahalingam Sutharshan (Shan). Due to some complications and Covid my case took bit more time than usual but outcome was positive . All the crew i mentioned above guided us in every stage of our case with a very progressive attitude . Mr. Usman Ali assistant us in every possible way and remained very responsive throughout the case. They made all the process easier with their positive approach and hardwork. It has been a great pleasure to work with them. Also my son who born overseas and an Australian citizen by descent Shan and usman applied his citizenship and got it approved within the given time frame and now my wife recently got approved her Partner visa subclass 100 . Exceptional very good service by Parish Patience Immigration Lawyers and in particular, Mr. Thong, Mr. Billah and Ms. Marlene. Words beyond expression. They were swift, decisive and too professional. I am a minor and received my PR earlier this month after almost a year applying. It could have been faster however due to COVID-19 got slightly delayed. Even though there are many challenges along the way, Mr. Thong and his team were exceptionally good and managed to overcome the hurdles and challenges, smoothly. I highly recommend to all others to engage this Law firm for Immigration purposes, you will not be disappointed.
