I engaged Upright Migration for my partner’s skill assessment and am sharing my experience for transparency. On 17 December, the assessing authority emailed Upright Migration requesting an additional document required to progress the application. This email was sent directly to the assigned agent; however, no response was provided for over 20 days. On 5 January, the assessing authority issued a follow-up email requesting the same document again and CC’d me. This is how I became aware that the request had not been actioned. Without this follow-up, the matter may have remained unattended. When I contacted Upright Migration reception, I was advised that the assigned agent was on extended leave and that another staff member was managing the matter. However, there was no clear confirmation as to why the original email was missed or whether it had been reviewed earlier. I have attached screenshots of the email correspondence, including the email I sent to the Director and the official email address, for which I have not received any response to date. Unfortunately, the lack of timely response and continuity in case management caused unnecessary delay in a time-sensitive immigration matter. Based on my experience, I would recommend clearer communication, proper handover processes, and more proactive case management.
