If you are reading this review I am sure that you are aware that not all immigration lawyers have your best intent in mind. We requested a meeting with the immigration lawyer however we were finally scheduled with an employee who was an agent (not the lawyer). We payed $320 AUD for this meeting in hope of identifying a clear immigration strategy and instead were met with a 1 hour sales pitch from this employee selling us on his 7 step plan (this costs approximately $12'000 plus an additional $7'000 for the application). We were a bit shocked at that number considering the average TOTAL cost is $10'000, that aside we proceeded to ask the employee questions related to skill assessments and different visa options. These questions were met with 'I don't know' and 'ill have to ask *the lawyer*', given his inability to answer any questions he suggested that he book us a free follow-up meeting with the lawyer to ask our questions. We initially accepted before reaching out to enquire about cancelling and getting a refund as we had lost our trust in this company. We were reassured that we could get a refund without any issues so we confirmed only to be given a partial refund. In the end we were charged approximately $1 per minute to meet with the employee and to listen to his 7 step sales pitch. We attempted to remedy this situation by emailing the owner of the business directly only to get rather rude response and affirmed we would not be getting our full refund. In summary from our experience this company offers a sales pitch and charges you for that. *This post has been modified and names have been retracted and referred to as employee and lawyer as Nicholas has reached out and accused it of being unfair, untrue, abusive, and defamatory*
VisAustralia has been with me since the beginning of my migration journey to this country. I started working with them in 2022, and they proposed the best strategy for immigrating to Australia. Today, I'm studying for a master's degree at Charles Darwin University as a prerequisite for obtaining permanent residency. At every step of the process, they have been clear about the fees, the required documentation, and the approximate timeframe. Each consultation helped me realize that I was making the best decision. I'm still in the process of obtaining residency, and I'm confident that VisAustralia will be with me every step of the way.
I made the mistake of thinking this was the best agency to get information from since they have physical offices in Mexico, and I thought that spoke to their seriousness and reliability. Of all the immigration agents I looked at, this company has the highest consultation fee by far, charging an average of $100 more than any agent located in Australia. And in my experience, I can tell you it's basically money down the drain UNLESS you want to handle your entire process with them, because they won't help you at all during the consultation. If you're already informed and want to get your questions answered, they won't. For that, you have to pay more money—MUCH, MUCH MORE. I wanted answers to very specific questions, but they didn't answer a single one. I only paid for a pre-rehearsed speech (and things that, if you're diligent and have already researched your desired immigration path, you already know). So they charged me for telling me things I already knew, and even for misinforming me, since the "agent" I dealt with didn't have enough knowledge about the English exams accepted by the Australian government. Then they sent me the forms and a quote for handling the case, and basically, just to get them to help you choose your profession and prepare the documents you need for the Skills Assessment, they're going to charge you $5,500 AUD. Yes, just getting to that initial step doesn't mean you have to do everything else, so they'll charge you another $4,000 AUD (this is ONLY for their services; you still have to pay for the applications to the various Australian agencies). And here I was thinking that with an immigration consultation they could tell me if occupation A or B was a better fit and what documents to prepare for the Skills Assessment—how wrong I was! I should mention that any immigration agent located in Australia who is registered with MARA can help you and WILL answer your specific questions in an immigration consultation. And if you decide to have them support you throughout your entire process, the average price for them to handle the ENTIRE process is $4,500 AUD. In short, the worst experience I've had on this immigration journey was running into these "immigration agents" taking advantage of Latinos who are afraid to look for agents directly in Australia.
My experience with VisAustralia has been excellent. From the first consultation it became clear that they were experts in the field. After reviewing my circumstances they were able to recommend the best possible options. They are very responsive, dedicated and patience, and made the whole process easy and stress free for me. Because of their expertise and hard work I have now been granted a Permanent Residency. Rubel and Nicholas are very competent and have a depth of knowledge about the migration policies. I strongly recommend VisAustralia to anyone who needs assistance with their visa.

After what seemed like an eternity.. jumping over hurdles with the department of immigration.. I finally got the call to say my visa had been GRANTED. Best. Day. Ever! I would not have been granted a visa if it wasn’t for VisAustralia. Their professionalism and knowledge was outstanding. They guided me through the process every step of the way and explained everything to me properly and gave me options. Before going to them for help I thought getting migration help would be way above what I could afford. But their prices were very fair. I would not go anywhere else for migration help!
