I trusted My College Khoj / We Migrate, run by Pratima and Amit, for 3 years and paid ₹2 lakhs as a process fee for an Italy student visa. Along with this, I spent on IELTS, TOLC, insurance, visa fees, and other expenses,totaling around ₹5 lakhs My visa was rejected mainly due to wrong guidance given by them, especially regarding sponsorship and fund transfers. Later, they claimed they had already stopped Italy processing a year ago then why was I advised to proceed? One of the reasons mentioned in my rejection was sudden transfer of funds.I had 10+ lakh rupees in my brother's account, for which we had taken a loan, as Pratima suggested that you can make your brother your sponsor. I collected all my documents and went for visa filing, and the embassy told me that you cannot make your brother your sponsor, only your parents can be your sponsor. She doesn’t even know this. When I expressed my concern, she said we have got visas in the past with siblings as sponsors and rules might have recently changed. So Pratima suggested it’s okay, you can simply transfer the money into your father’s account and make him the sponsor. So I transferred money into my father’s account and submitted my visa application, which eventually led to rejection Outraged by the event me my sister and my mother went to their office and started discussing their fault. She started yelling at us and calling me a stupid and mad person. She also made derogatory remarks such as, “I know people like you who work at MNCs and earn 20k to 30k and do show off.” She started threatening us, stating, “I’ll call the police and shut down the office with you three inside.” As we had not done anything wrong, we told her to please call the police and that we would not leave until the police arrived. After seeing our courage and how his wife had ruined everything by speaking unethically and nonsense, her husband Amit jumped in. He stated that if you want a refund, I will provide you that after covering my expenses which I have done to enroll you in college and some other miscellaneous expenses. But if you want, I have an option of a Slovakia language course programme, for which I am talking about 100% guarantee. I will also assist you with job seeking there, and you have to be rest assured as this process has a 100% success rate. My mother straight away rejected it and asked for a refund, but he coaxed us for half an hour. He was able to persuade me as I was ambitious and blind in my ambition. I asked him multiple times whether this will be a success in one go, and he assured me multiple times it will not take more than 6 months. He said you have to pay 1880 euro to the college as a fee, and then we will file the visa. I paid 1880 euro. Once I paid the fees, Pratima told me to write an email to the Slovakian Embassy to get a slot for a visa appointment. After writing multiple emails to the Slovakia Embassy and not receiving any reply, I asked them that they are not replying. She then said to ask for a refund from the college. Then I asked her, your husband and you assured me multiple times that this process has a 100% result, now why are you not able to make it work? I made my peace and asked her to provide me with a refund as it was initially discussed. She started ignoring my calls and again started to threaten me. Both are threatening me so that I will back out. But as for me,I am going to fight till my last breath. I have approached some authorities and they have assured me to help. When I went to Mumbai Police and told them they are threatening me, they said why are you getting scared of them,it is they who duped you for money, they can’t do anything. They also changed their company name from My College Khoj to We Migrate, which clearly shows inconsistency. I have lost 3 years and around ₹5 lakhs, and my family is under financial stress due to loans. I have already approached the police, and they confirmed multiple complaints exist against them. Please be very careful before trusting them. I am sharing this so that no one else goes through the same situation.
