Dealing with the Australian Immigration (Department of Home Affairs) is always a daunting task that is complicated, sophisticated and very patience-testing. I did not hesitate to seek professional help when I needed to sponsor a Sub-class 309 visa for my partner overseas. And I am really glad that I made the right choice to use the services of No Border Migration Agents/Lawyers. Cindy and her team are very helpful, professional and very efficient. My partner and I have been very well looked after. Any requests are always promptly actioned on. Any questions are always patiently explained and answered. My partner's 309 visa is granted this week,14 months after initial application. This is a very significant achievement by Cindy and her team, considering the current waiting time for the same visa sub-class is up to 3 years. Due to the language barrier, I chose a Chinese lawyer to process my visa. This is a long, time consuming process the process but they helped me solve some problems so that I could get a new visa smoothly. I was fortunate to choose this very professional law firm, and even luckier to find the right lawyer Cindy, who is dedicated, professional, patient and compassionate. We had our initial consultation about our case with a senior migration agent. Once we signed the contract our case was handled by a junior agent (trainee?) who acted on behalf of the senior agent despite the fact that our contract stated that our case will be handled by the senior agent. Most of the visa application steps were turbulent, we had unneccessary delays in the application (4-month delay as the skills assesment lodgement done by the agent was not valid, 6-month further delay as we were trying to prove work experience that did not contribute to the overall visa score/points), that the agent was not aware of and I needed to enquire about this information from the skills assessment authorities (as the agent was not willing/interested to do so after multiple emails/calls). We were not advised about updates to the PMSOL and we lodged our application for an occupation that got off the short list recently. We were not told that it is possible to lodge an application with a different successfully assessed occupation. We were not given any updates about our application after lodgement and usually responses to our emails or calls came with week-long delays. We even had difficulities when we decided to cancel our lodgement as the junior agent handling our case quit and did not do a proper handover of our case. After 2 years of running in circles, we got our visa lodged and approved through a different agency within 4 months. Based on our experience I would not recommend to use their services.
Approached no borders migration agency as it seemed to have decent ratings. Initially the agent I was consulted with assured that they were thorough with the work and were able to provide insight in achieving a successful outcome. That was not the case. Yes, visa rejection is unfortunate, it was the feedback given by the team looking after my case. During process, they offered very little advice until after the application was rejected, all of sudden it was we should've done this and that. Where was this information prior to lodging the application? Not to mention poor communication. Had to wait an average of 5 days for a reply. As well as small mistakes that were made that had I not picked it up, it would've gone unnoticed. Again, when you say you're thorough and have experience and yet make these kinds of mistakes...should've known better and done better. And the fact that I had to go to other migration agencies for advice says a lot. Honestly, I feel no borders migration agency hadnt given their best to achieve the results we were after. After that experience, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I would strongly recommend No Borders Migration Team, especially Cindy & Minji to deal with my complicated case. I sought legal assistance in AAT hearing with my previous immigration agent (not a lawyer), botched my submissions, I ended up with no other options to appeal further. At glance, Cindy found jurisdictional errors, then the coordinated efforts of the Brisbane 1 Team, they successfully brough it back to AAT tribunal case making my case a precedent at the Federal Court. Not only their legal assistance, I appreciate their moral supports through out this time at FCC and FC, while I was going through serious mental issues, many days of worries and having been taken to the hospital by anxiety attack.
