We, my wife and I, had to comply with a recently brought UK travel regulation that mandates that all US passport holders , unlike in the past, should obtain an electronic transit visa to transit through UK on their way from USA to Sri Lanka or vice versa . To obtain this visa , while we were in Colombo, we approached the Visa Center at 15A, Coniston Place, Colombo 7, to get their help. I am glad to say that, through their truly commendable and prompt service , they were able to obtain the required visa for us in just three days. In this regard, I should particularly express my appreciation of the part played by Diyan , to whom the task had been allocated by the office. She, with her pleasant personality and excellent professional skill and demeanor, executed the job for us to our complete satisfaction. Her services in this matter were done so well and smoothly and in such a timely manner for us that I feel that should a need arise for us at any time in future to deal with any matters related to travel and visa, it is to this office that we would go to have our needs attended to.
