A Nightmare Experience with Visa Avenue: Incompetence, Unprofessionalism, and Broken Promises I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Visa Avenue for my tourist visa application to South America, and I must say that it has been the worst decision of my life so far. A friend had referred me to this agency, but little did I know the ordeal I would have to endure. Right from the beginning, Visa Avenue displayed their true colors. They demanded a substantial upfront payment, a whopping 60k for the consultation fee alone, covering three countries. Naively, I complied, believing that their services would be worth the price. How wrong I was. The process was agonizingly slow, with no follow-ups from their end whatsoever. I would have to call them at least 4-5 times before receiving a response, and even then, it would be at the end of the day when nothing more could be accomplished. It became a frustrating routine of being tossed aside, with promises to "talk tomorrow" that were never fulfilled. I had paid them on November 25th and explicitly informed them of my mid-December travel plans. I explained that I needed the visa processed before then, as flights were cheaper during that period. Initially, they assured me that the visa would be ready well in advance. However, after countless delays and constant badgering on my part, they casually informed me that I could only expect it in mid-January. By this time, my flight arrangements had already been disrupted, causing me considerable stress and financial loss. To add insult to injury, while I was at the airport, ready to board a flight to Bangalore on December 6th, Visa Avenue dropped a bombshell on me via email. They suddenly insisted that I had to come to Delhi to process my visa, conveniently leaving out this crucial detail when they were busy selling me their package. Frustrated beyond measure, I had no choice but to reschedule my original flight to December 20th. Little did I know that this would not be the last rescheduling ordeal they would put me through. Upon reaching Delhi, they further delayed the process, forcing me to push my flight to December 31st. With the continuous chaos and shattered plans, I eventually had to cancel my entire trip, as it was already late December, and the entire schedule had been irrevocably messed up. Visa Avenue had promised me visas for three countries but managed to obtain only one. This is a clear indication of their incompetence and unprofessionalism, despite their claims of expertise in dealing with these specific countries. It's worth noting that Visa Avenue boasts high ratings on their Google reviews, but I strongly believe that they are all manipulated. My personal experience has left me convinced that they are nothing more than skilled scammers, preying on innocent individuals like me. Their complete lack of response to my refund request for the other two countries, even after six months have passed since January 2023, is a testament to their true nature. In conclusion, I cannot stress enough the importance of avoiding Visa Avenue at all costs. Their unprofessionalism, broken promises, and incompetence have caused me immense frustration, financial loss, and the cancellation of a long-awaited trip.
