The total lack of professionalism, integrity and honest protocol in the investigation of a glass like foreign object retrieved from an onsite bakery item. My experience as a loyal customer with this grocery giant has been nothing shy of disgraceful. The lackadaisical mismanagement of the management group I had the misfortune of interacting with, I have only received their incompetence and total lack of accountability and resolution. Thank you Woolworths for living up to your slogan of being the fresh food people. No industry is totally exempt from incidents, but when they do present a set protocol is followed for thorough investigation and analysis. The desired end point being resolution and customer satisfaction. This has not occurred and with the service I have received unlikely to happen and all trust broken. Puts a new spin on the phrase “Leaves a bad taste in your mouth”, except this is glass not a taste. No laughing matter. Thank you for not honouring your verbally stated line of enquiry and protocol. In fact after one single telephone call and failed experiment to dissolve the foreign object in vinegar (set time frame of 15min, then 30min then 45min), you closed the case after stating that you would provide further assistance and testing. I will have the foreign object analysed, as a scientist and ex police officer seek an explanation and resolution. You have failed to achieve the above and ensure public food safety. You really should not hold the position that you do demonstrating all integrity, professionalism and accountability for Woolworths. What do you get paid for exactly, the last time I engaged with a male member of staff and being frustrated by his rhetoric, I sought independent counsel from a solicitor and have never heard back from him or any other Woolworths member. You ought to be ashamed and resign immediately from your position.
Appalling customer service! I have been trying for over a year to get their Customer Service to resolve an issue with their partner Uber drivers where the Uber app is 2kms out and the drivers getting lost. I have asked them to ask Uber to add a pin to the GPS so it shows correctly. I know it can be done because I recently updated Google Maps but this Customer Service seem unable or, worse, unwilling to push the request. In the mean time, I regularly calls from panicked drivers wanting to know where I am and that is despite me adding additional delivery instructions to ignore the Uber app and use Google Maps instead. However, the drivers only see those instructions when they scroll well down on the delivery order. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
Aghast to find Woolies have discontinued their free from gluten white loaf, 680g. At a loss to understand why they would do this, it was extremely popular within the coeliac community as it was about the only normal sized loaf of gluten free bread available. Why do gluten free bread manufacturers assume that coeliac people aren’t hungry and like tiny little slices of bread to make tiny little sandwiches with? The free from loaf was about the only product that seemed to acknowledge that coeliac people crave normal bread. Yes there’s Helgas but that is rarely in stock. And on a lesser note, where have bounty bars gone? A classic favourite, another product mysteriously disappeared without explanation. With the countless other products Woolies have quietly deleted it feels like they are going out of their way to remove reasons to continue to shop there, along with making life more difficult especially for those with limited options.
I had sent an email to the Woolworths support team about a stock of a item that i couldn't find in store. I had sent the email on the 10th of September. It is currently the 27th of September ( 17 Days Later ( Almost 3 Weeks! )) I don't think Woolworths has cared to even read or reply to my email. Just a simple yes or no answer would be fine. But instead, I received nothing back from them. This is truly unbelievable. Considering that Woolworths is the No 1. in the market with over 37% of it coming from them. Especially if they are in the top 3 of the best supermarkets in Australia.
I bought a six pack of Bread Rolls today from the Minto Woolworths store. Yes they were cheap and priced appropriately for struggling families. They were also marketed as a fresh product. What surprised me was that they were so dry inside and inedible. I know the formula is to keep prices low while maximizing profit. I understand this means using the cheapest ingredients and ratios of high cost ingredients to a minimum but I would be willing to pay more for a better product made from better ingredients.
Bought a phone from Kwinana Woolworth and there was a issue with the device it just froze on me and wouldn't turn back on visited the store and the manager said I just need to bring the Sim card back as I had the receipt for a refund. Came back the next day to get a refund with the receipt and Sim card to the service desk to be fully mocked and made out as a joke the 2 absolute rudest new Zealander lady's working and the 1 lady that wears the bandana on her head think names carrisa or something, told me the phone wasn't from the store and laughing at me and pretty much told me to jog off. Absolute appalling behaviour from these 3 women very very disappointing. The way these women treat there customers they shouldn't even have a job at all..... The next few days I did that phone in when the manager was working which she was lovely and refunded me.
I bought a mobile phone Optus there is a issue with the device as I called the Optus network team then they said the device issue but not network advised me to visit the store I purchased and exchange or refund. When I tried to talk to them the service desk people and the manager over there were rude and no idea about refund policy or returns of Woolworths ; simply ignored and trying to stick with me no other option. I am working in a retailer as a employee but I never seen these sort of biased staff anywhere .
Still deplorable service at fish counter! Despite shortened hours I still had to wait well beyond my turn,at 76 years of age, leaning heavily on my walking stick, while at the adjoining deli counter one lady casually bagged cooked chickens while younger girl simply served all comers who arrived in front of her, both giving me an occasional casual glance, until in sheer exasperation I loudly announced my presence.Obvious that this area is still short staffed, but that is beyond my control, wake up Woolies!!
