I used Kevin from Newstar to help me with my student visa renewal. Newstar also helped me with my first student visa, and they handled this renewal as well. They are very responsible. I submitted my application in July 2021, but due to various reasons (quarantine, forgetting my passport, etc.), I hadn't had my medical exam until yesterday. I got my visa today! Even with someone as slow as me, Kevin was very patient, reminding me of the medical exam again and again. I'm really grateful to him! 😝

Newstar's consultants are responsible, provide relatively professional service, and are friendly. When encountering difficulties, or when supplementary explanations or document requirements are needed for the review process, the head of the department, Jasper, is able to communicate promptly, help mobilize resources, and obtain supplementary materials to resolve the issues. Overall, the experience was good, and the service fee was relatively reasonable for the services provided.
Waste of time with their agent, not only do you have to endure feisty attitude, they are always kicking the ball and blame the Australian Government. Slow, misleading and absolutely useless in the process and had to take feisty attitude from their employee. Their favourite quote was "it's not up to us, it's with the Australian Government". You are the agents, the client acts on your advice. If you start kicking the ball and blaming others, it makes you look incompetent.
After a long search, I finally found Newstart, and it proved to be the right choice! I applied for a 190 visa with my spouse, and it was approved in less than 5 months, with no additional documents required. My consultant, Annie, was incredibly patient, responded promptly, and communicated smoothly. She provided detailed guidance at every step. I highly recommend her; after all, the consultant is the key contact person, and a good consultant makes all the difference!
